1.About HNPM Company and HNPM's Pump Technology

HNP Mikrosysteme was established in 1998 and is located in northern Germany. So far, the company has developed nearly 80 employees, including scientists, engineers, and designers. The product has gone through a complete process from concept, design, testing, and ultimately to sales. Unique small flow pump technology


The micro ring gear pump is a miniaturized rotary positive displacement pump. They are based on the so-called micro ring gear principle, with an inner toothed outer rotor and an outer toothed inner rotor. The inner rotor has one tooth less than the outer rotor, with a tooth ratio of 6/7 or 10/11. The manufacturing tolerance of the rotor is within the range of a few micrometers.

Working principle of HNPM gear pump


There are two eccentrically installed rotors in the gear pump of HNPM that mesh with their cycloidal gears. When the number of teeth is 6/7, the number of cavities is 6. The shaft of the micro ring gear pump is connected to the internal rotor and powered by a precisely controlled electric motor. The outer rotor can be rotatably installed and driven by the inner rotor. When the rotors rotate around their offset axis, the volume of the pumping chamber increases on the input side and also decreases on the output side of the pump. A uniform and low pulsating flow rate is generated between the renal inlet and outlet, which also combines several pump chambers. The delivery direction of the pump is reversible, but it is recommended to use the recommended rotation direction.


2.HNPM's main pump product series:

HNPM micro ring gear pump includes 5 series of mzr ®- Pumps are used for dosage and metering of low to high viscosity liquids. According to different models, the dosage volume varies from 0.25 μ Starting from l, the flow rate starts from 1 μ L/h to 1.1 l/min, pressure from 0 to 150 bar. The range of liquid viscosity is from 0.3 to 1000000mPas. There are also explosion-proof versions available.

B-Modular Pump: Modular series pumps are suitable for light corrosive liquids


The HNP modular micro ring gear pump is suitable for light corrosive liquids. When equipped with oxide ceramic bearing components, the combination of different materials for the pump body and rotor is determined by the liquid to be transported. The rotor can be made of zirconia based ceramics or nickel based tungsten carbide. The pump casing for liquid connection can be made of alloy C22316L stainless steel, aluminum, and PEEK ™ different material composition options. D-high-performance pump: The high-performance pump series is very suitable for challenging metering tasks that require high precision, medium pressure range, viscosity of 0.3-1000000 mPas, and high temperature dosing environments.

The HNP high-performance pump has a double-sided bearing system driven by a powerful DC servo motor with an integrated controller. There are many options for additional modules, such as fluid sealing modules, heating modules, insulation modules, or gear modules. High performance pumps are recommended for mechanical and equipment engineering. Based on the size of the pump, standardized interfaces of 1/4 "-28 UNF, 1/8" NPT or 3/8 "NPT are available.

E-inert sealing: The sealing and chemical inert series are almost universally applicable to corrosive liquids, making them an innovation in pumping technology


The HNP sealed and chemically inert series pumps are designed with no shaft seals and are driven by torsion resistant NdFeB magnetic couplings. Widely applicable to corrosive liquids, this is an innovation in pumping technology. The rotor and functional components made of nickel based tungsten carbide, zirconia, alumina, and other ceramics give the pump high chemical resistance and excellent wear resistance. This pump uses hot isostatic pressing silicon carbide (SSiC) shaft and bearing materials, as well as shell components of alloy C22 (2.4602), and can be used for demanding oxidizing and reducing liquids, acids, alkalis, and other solvents.

HNP Micro Distribution Module μDispense ® It is a compact and intelligent metering system used for analytical instruments. It achieves precise measurement and measurement in the range of microliters to milliliters. In addition to removing the minimum amount of liquid during the dosage process, continuous operation, high flow rate flushing, and reverse operation can also be performed. Based on the HNP pump series, these auxiliary modules increase the application range of the pump. Using thermal insulation modules, it is possible to pump cold and hot liquids from -20 to 200 °C. The heating module can be used to actively heat the pump head to maintain liquid temperature.

HNP's range of auxiliary products includes additional controller modules, such as cabinet control units, customer specified OEM solutions with various interfaces to supplement drive technology.

Our control program mzr ®- The pump controller can be used for operating mode metering and dosage, for laboratory and pump testing operations.
