Working principles:

Piezoelectric micropump is a type of diaphragm pump. The driving source of a conventional diaphragm pump is an electric motor, while the driving source of a piezoelectric pump is piezoelectric ceramics. When a voltage is applied to piezoelectric ceramics, they will deform, causing the diaphragm to deform and vibrate. The shut-off valve connected to the pump chamber controls the flow direction of the pump medium. Within a second, the micropump undergoes hundreds of such deformation cycles, achieved through the combination of piezoelectric ceramics, diaphragms, and check valves, thus achieving the purpose of pumping. In practical applications, the performance of the pump will vary with changes in variable factors (voltage, frequency, back pressure). Due to the use of piezoelectric ceramics as the driving source, the pump can achieve a very small flow range, with a standard flow rate of 6ml/min.

Bartels piezoelectric micropump mp6

The Bartels piezoelectric micropump MP6 series houses two piezoelectric actuators in a single housing. This version of the pump combines the newly developed features with the core advantages of the established innovation points of the previous generation MP5. This small power pack can withstand twice the back pressure that the MP5 can withstand, with stronger startup capability and higher bubble resistance. So even pumping the gas-liquid mixture is not a problem. Its low power consumption is a greater advantage. Only one material in the entire pump (mp6 hyb, mp6 gas) will come into contact with the medium, and all materials that come into contact with the medium are made of polyphenylene sulfone (PPSU). The valve foil of MP6-pi is made of polyimide (PI), and the other liquid receiving components are made of polyphenylene sulfone (PPSU). The valve foil of MP6-pp is made of polyimide (PI), and the remaining liquid receiving components are made of polypropylene (PP).

Due to automatic assembly, MP6-hyb, MP6-gas, and MP6-pi can already be supplied in large quantities at low prices. MP6-PP is semi-automatic production, but can be converted into automated batch production in large quantities.
